Sicilian Summer Natural Perfume

Sicilian Summer is a joyful symphony of sparkling citrus, sun-ripened lemons and mediterranean botanicals, capturing the freedom of endless summer days, sea breezes and golden afternoons beneath the Sicilian sun. Fresh, vibrant and carefree, this perfume celebrates the beauty, warmth and spirit of the Mediterranean. 

When creating this perfume, Master Blender Salvatore Battaglia's intention was to create a natural fragrance that honours his Sicilian family heritage – a fragrance reminiscent of sitting under the shade of the lemon tree in his aunt's courtyard in Sicily, hours going by eating good food and connecting with loved ones. 

AROMA PROFILE:
Sicilian Summer is a bright, sun-drenched perfume built around cold-pressed Sicilian lemon – sharp, juicy and alive, the way it smells straight off the tree. Lime, sweet orange, mandarin and pink grapefruit round out the citrus note with a fresh sweetness, while verbena and basil add an herbal snap, evoking the scent of leaves crushed underfoot in a courtyard garden. As the citrus settles, a light floral and aromatic heart opens up – petitgrain and lavender, orange blossom and geranium, a trace of wild Mediterranean myrtle and a touch of black pepper. The base is warm and gently grounding rather than heavy with Virginian cedarwood, a dash of vetiver, frankincense and a touch of amber-like labdanum which helps hold the brightness of Sicilian summer in place for hours.
